Luke Griffin
Luke Griffin, (Kathryn’s son) has a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations, both obtained locally at Deakin University.
He has been with our Drysdale lawyers firm as a practising lawyer since 2012. Prior to that, Luke was at the KG Lawyers office in a supporting capacity, learning the ropes of the industry on a part-time basis for several years while completing his studies.
Luke practices in Wills and estates, property law and family law among others. Being a small town firm, he is required to provide advice on various issues that arise.
Luke is the family lawyer in the firm, and can provide advice in relation to Binding Financial Agreements, property settlements and maintenance, divorce, de facto relationship as well as Intervention orders.
The nature of family law encompasses so many other areas of law, such as selling the family home, redrafting your Will to reflect the changes in your life and refinancing the matrimonial home, meaning that Luke is required to keep up to date with multiple areas of the legal landscape to provide complete assistance with your family law matter.
Luke has lived in the Drysdale, Clifton Springs and Geelong area all his life and is married to the lovely Nicoline. He likes to spend his spare time with his wife, daughter and two dogs. As well as playing a round of golf or a game of basketball when he can find the time, Luke also volunteers at Barwon Legal Community Centre providing free family law advice each month.
