As a local team of Conveyancing lawyers, we can work with all types of properties, including residential, commercial and rural properties, farms, retirement villages, owner corporation and aged care accommodation.

In addition to routine conveyancing services for residential, rural and commercial land transfers, we also assist our clients with spousal transfers, related party transactions, and other non-dutiable transactions such as transfers involving family farm or deceased estate exemptions.

KG Lawyers has been an electronic legal services firm since long before the conveyancing process became electronic, using computer-generated documents and searching and liaising via the internet to offer easy accessibility to services across Drysdale, the Bellarine Peninsula, the Greater Geelong area and throughout Victoria. We are highly proficient in PEXA and Duties Online.

While we are proud to be an electronic firm, we also provide reliable advice to clients before submitting any land transfer documents online, ensuring you are not simply pressing a button blindly.

Conveyancing and Property Law

Our highly trained team have decades of experience working as land transfer lawyers in the property law sector.

We help our clients establish whether they are investing in a good title and whether there are any issues with legal restrictions on the title. Many subdivisions and councils place particular restrictions on titles and it is important to be aware of these restrictions when considering a purchasing or transferring a title.

Our land transfer lawyers support clients throughout the whole title conveyance process, ensuring ownership is clean and clear and the client is fully aware of all aspects and requirements of the title.

Conveyancing – Pricing Guide

For a sale or purchase, our professional fees are $900 plus GST and disbursements. Disbursements are our out-of-pocket expenses such as conducting title and rates searches. Disbursements are kept to a minimum wherever possible. We don’t require any upfront payment as our costs and disbursements are paid at settlement.

Generally the total price differs between a sale and purchase and between a house and a unit. This is due to the number and types of certificates we need to obtain (forming the cost of disbursements).
